A deep dive into my super stack passing system. One of my favorite guard passes. As simple as the stack pass may seem there are a lot of working parts and details worth exploring. Enjoy!

Triangle Choke || closed guard overhook system
Переглядів 3,4 тис.5 років тому
Triangle Choke from the closed guard performed by Andris Brunovskis // This is a basic triangle set up that I've been using since I was a white belt. I think every white belt should learn this move. The over hook from closed guard is great foundation to start with when developing a guard early on.

This is AMAZING 🎉❤
It doesn’t work against the judo guys
Can you finish that belly down if you dont keep it tight and they are stroner and sweep you with their arm?
Like an ineverted barratoplata
Nice

Second best worm guard player in the world
This is seriously impressive to watch. I liked the breakdown.
Wow
Sveikas! Latvis?
Thanks man
Very nice very nice
Love it
I'm so glad you made this video. Thank you.
Thanks for the content and keep up the great work 😃👍
I get americana’d all the time from one dude. This is going to be perfect 😈
Love this breakdown. Stack passing is one of the first passes I learned as a white belt and it’s now my go to move. Watching this breakdown shows me I can improve the knee in the back positioning to keep it locked in. Thank you! Against higher belts I sometimes catch myself in the arm in triangle (opponent’s arm). Is there a way to prevent this?
Is this legal for white belts in IBJJF?
Ossuuu
hell yes. powerful sub! thx
Was looking for this,.thank you sir!!
When was this?? It looks like the Tokyo Budokan, Tokyo International Open maybe. WOW why did they stand you both up after you had the arm/triangle on Rodrigo?
Forgot to mention that the left leg in the Baratoplata should be pressing on the shoulder as you hook under or over. But other than that I gave it a thumbs up!!!👍👍👍
Excellent breakdown. The insights are invaluable. Oss.
One of the best triangle videos I've seen. Thanks much, Andris.
🙌
Spicy
Andris, Thanks for posting! These breakdowns are great. Please keep them going!
The best kept secret instructor on the planet! Like a sniper, you never know when you'll get hit ; - )
I love this dude !
great demo master, good job guys show the techniques gogoplata, toe hold, bow and arrow choke please thank you
very well explained, cant wait to use this one!!
This might be much too late to be useful, but while the information in the video was great, there is a muffled wind sound in my right ear when viewing it with headphones that makes this video almost unwatchable.
Nice variation thnks, Oss
That's what I was doing wrong, the chin in the butthole is where I was making a mistake. Lol
Hahaah that part got me too. "I have my chin uncomfortably close to his butthole."
Why did Andris get penalized? Was it because he tried to talk to the ref?
"shake the lapel out"...please show stuff where you don't need a gi to do it.
Oss
Love the details bro
Great clear instruction and tone. Good teacher, osu! ☯️💪🥋
Ummmm it’s your entire body on the opponents single arm/shoulder...... 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳😈🙃
